SWSPP just came back from St. Lucia! January 4th through the 15th, five members of SWSPP went to Laborie St. Lucia to take part in a 10 day steel pan and Brazilian percussion workshop. The steel pan workshop was led by an internationally known pan player Andy Narell. The women of SWSPP got to learn and play alongside musicians and music students from around the world. It was an amazing experience and we hope to bring some of the players from the local youth band in Laborie up to Seattle sometime in the near future! Check the photos and video montage below!
